Lord Seymour, played by Dominic Cooper, is a servant of the crown who secretly conspires against King Edward with Princess Mary. He assists Mary in her plot to poison the king so that she can take his place on the throne.
Lord Dudley, portrayed by Rob Brydon, is one of the king’s advisors who has his own motivations. He wants to marry off his son, Guildford, to Jane in order to advance his own family’s position in the royal lineage.
